Digital Modernization Program — General Directorate of Civil Service
Digital platform modernization program for Costa Rica's General Directorate of Civil Service, initiated under a presidential accessibility directive. It comprises three chained deliverables: the WCAG 2.2 AA remediation of the legacy site —already in production—, an in-house headless CMS giving the institution editorial autonomy, and the full site rebuild in Next.js that consumes that CMS and will replace the current platform. The new site also serves as a production testbed for the Accessible DGSC Prototype and wcag-agent. Launch expected December 2026.
WCAG 2.2 AA Accessibility Remediation — legacy site
WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility adjustments and technical SEO over the existing institutional platform (legacy PHP technology), under presidential directive. It modernized a system with outdated code through deep improvements in accessibility, responsiveness, and user experience. Live in production; it will be replaced by the full rebuild.

WCAG 2.2 AA Accessibility Remediation — legacy siteInstitutional Headless CMS
In-house headless content management system with a custom fullstack architecture, WCAG 2.2 AA compliance, and technical SEO. It gives the institution autonomous management of newsletters, notices, documents, and the collections consumed by the new site. Pending release.

Full rebuild of the institutional website
Complete site replacement in Next.js: image optimization, newsletter and notice management, a formal complaint flow with traceability, an Equality and Accessibility section as a top-level navigation pillar, a document library, and a unified search over the CMS collections with load control. If the search or CMS fails it falls back to static data, and it includes an advanced accessibility bar. Pending release; launch expected December 2026.

De La Finca Restaurant Website
Production website for De La Finca restaurant (Quepos, Costa Rica), bilingual ES/EN, with a category-based menu exportable to PDF, an editorial gallery, real Google reviews, and reservations sent through WhatsApp, validated in Costa Rica time, and logged for the restaurant. It includes a custom admin panel for reservations, the menu, site images, and gallery, protected by password plus two-factor authentication (TOTP), revocable sessions, and Postgres-backed rate limiting. In 2026 it went through a security, accessibility, and performance audit: CSP without unsafe-eval, structured data, server-rendered images, and 36 unused dependencies removed.

Personal project: a conversational assistant built around the domain of Costa Rica's General Directorate of Civil Service (DGSC). ChatBot – Civil ServiceInstitutional Chatbot – MAG
Personal project: a virtual assistant built around the domain of Costa Rica's Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG). Enables citizens and staff to make automated inquiries about procedures, institutional systems, and regulations through an accessible conversational interface, with hybrid RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) semantic search over a knowledge base managed through an admin panel.
Institutional Chatbot – MAGAccessible DGSC Prototype
Functional dashboard prototype to evaluate and monitor web accessibility of the DGSC institutional portal. Includes AI-powered automated audits, WCAG 2.2 AA findings visualization, compliance metrics, campaign/page tracking, and historical audit evolution — designed to support continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
Accessible DGSC Prototypewcag-agent — Accessibility agent for AI assistants
Open-source npm package (MIT) that installs a WCAG 2.2 accessibility reviewer agent into the AI assistant a developer already uses. A single command —npx wcag-agent— copies it with the right format to any of the 10 supported platforms. It audits React/Next.js and Vue 3/Nuxt components straight from source code: no running server, no browser extension. Published June 2026, currently at version 1.4.1, with zero external dependencies.
wcag-agent — Accessibility agent for AI assistants@jalonsc66/a11y-ci — Accessibility as part of the build
Open-source CLI that brings WCAG 2.2 AA auditing into the CI/CD pipeline: it audits a URL with axe-core, the IBM Equal Access Checker, and custom WCAG 2.2 validators, then returns an exit code based on the configured severity threshold, so the build fails when an accessibility barrier appears. When the URL points to localhost or an internal domain, it resolves DNS, detects the case, and runs the full audit on the developer's machine before uploading results to the dashboard.
@jalonsc66/a11y-ci — Accessibility as part of the buildNoah's Adventures — Educational Game
Cross-platform educational app (web and iOS via Capacitor) built for my 5-year-old son, with a navigable 9-scene map and 10 mini-games — drag-and-drop, tap-in-order, and tap-to-count — that teach counting, shapes, colors, vowels, consonants, sequencing, and daily routines. The design was validated by actually playing it with Playwright (including the real WebKit engine, not just Chromium) at every iteration, and later expanded after the child play-tested it and found it too easy.
Noah's Adventures — Educational GamePortfolio Pro — previous version
Previous version of this personal portfolio, built with Next.js 15 and React 19. Includes a command palette (⌘K), ES/EN language switcher, three themes (light, dark, and monospace), contact form powered by Resend, a dynamically generated Open Graph image, and a custom accessibility widget. Superseded by the current tower-scroll portfolio (this same site), which reused its project data as its source of truth.
Portfolio Pro — previous versionscroll-flyover — Claude Code skill for 3D scroll experiences
Open-source (MIT) Claude Code skill that builds pages with a continuous 3D camera flight synced to scroll, with geometry, materials, and skies generated entirely by code — no AI image or video generation, zero cost per build. Includes a portable scroll engine, six documented camera archetypes, and an accessibility QA pass over the final build's HTML layer. Validated with a production implementation (this very portfolio) and a gallery of four additional builds demonstrating its generalization to other industries.
scroll-flyover — Claude Code skill for 3D scroll experiencesSeguimientoMAG
Institutional web system for Costa Rica's Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG). Enables agricultural extension officers to import Excel files from the SisDNEA system, evaluate quarterly compliance with institutional indicators, and generate PNDIP reports in PDF/Excel. Includes hierarchical role-based authentication, Row Level Security, offline mode (PWA), and 100% in-browser processing of sensitive files for privacy.
SeguimientoMAGHabla Conmigo Spanish School
Production website for Habla Conmigo Spanish School, run by a native Costa Rican teacher with 21 years of experience teaching Spanish, in person in Costa Rica and online. On its own domain, it presents a class catalog with real prices read from Postgres (Neon) with a static fallback if the database fails, a services page, four accommodation options for the immersion packages, and a booking form that converts the schedule to the student's time zone and asks for level and stay details. Inquiries arrive by email through Resend. In development on a preview environment: an /admin panel with email one-time-code login so the client can edit the video, figures, classes, prices, and photos without touching code.
Habla Conmigo Spanish SchoolKing Kong Barber — Booking SaaS for Barbershops
It started as one barbershop's booking site and is now a multi-tenant SaaS platform for barbershops and salons: each business gets its own subdomain, branding, team, and schedule. A business signs itself up with a 14-day trial and an onboarding wizard, and the platform owner manages it from a dedicated panel. Bookings are validated on the server in each business's time zone, and a Postgres exclusion constraint prevents overlapping appointments. It includes automatic email and push reminders, rescheduling, time off and holidays, subscription billing, and a product landing page with pricing. It's an installable PWA with offline support. After an audit in October 2026, critical CVEs, cross-tenant leaks, and account and session security were fixed.

Victoria Arronis DíazPost JASC — POS with Electronic Invoicing
Point of sale and electronic invoicing system for Costa Rica, built on the Hacienda (tax authority) v4.4 specification. It covers checkout, issuing invoices, receipts, and credit and debit notes in colones, dollars, or euros, quotes, accounts receivable, per-register cash closing, purchases, inventory, reports, and a KPI dashboard. The XML is validated against the official XSDs in the tests, and documents are sent to Hacienda from a retrying queue so checkout never waits. Hacienda credentials are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM, and every query is scoped per company. It's built from a phased gap-analysis plan: one branch per item, CI that runs migrations against an empty Postgres, and over 50 test files. XML signing is pending until the client delivers their certificate.
Post JASC — POS with Electronic InvoicingGolden Law — Law Firm Website Template
Website template for law firms with a dark hero and orbiting cards, light and dark mode, practice areas, team, results, and publications across 29 static pages. Each client's content lives in its own profile, so switching firms never touches the components. Contact form validated with Zod and delivered by webhook, cookie banner with consent-only analytics, JSON-LD, and page transitions with View Transitions, all meeting WCAG 2.2 AA.
Golden Law — Law Firm Website TemplateGrano Alto — Online Store Template
Commercial store template with four hand-built animation gestures and no libraries: crossfade, a shared element that flies from the card to the detail view, a category dock that grows under the pointer, and blur on the other cards. Products open as a modal with their own URL, the cart persists across tabs, and checkout can go through WhatsApp, email, or your own payment gateway. Bilingual, light and dark mode, and 100 in Lighthouse accessibility, best practices, and SEO.
